Preparing women and children for the AI-driven economy since 2019
Advocate for Women and Children Foundation was founded in 2019 with a simple but powerful belief: every woman and child deserves access to the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
We achieved 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2019 and have operated entirely through volunteer effort for six years. During this time, we've served families in crisis, provided technology training for women, and built the foundation for scalable programs that prepare the next generation for careers in AI and technology.
As artificial intelligence transforms the workforce, we recognized that women and children—particularly those in communities with limited access to technology resources—risk being left behind. Our response: create accessible, hands-on training that teaches practical AI and technology skills, delivered in ways that work for busy mothers and curious children alike.
"We don't just teach technology—we build pathways to economic independence for women while inspiring the next generation to pursue STEM careers."
Our Commitment: Our disaster relief efforts—including Hurricane Helene response—have been funded personally by the Executive Director, demonstrating our commitment to serving families regardless of organizational budget constraints. When families are in crisis, we act first and figure out funding later.
Advocate for Women and Children Foundation bridges the technology gap for women and children by providing accessible pathways into the AI-driven economy.
We deliver practical workforce training in artificial intelligence and automation tools that prepare women for high-demand careers, informal STEM education that sparks early interest in technology for youth, and family support services that remove barriers to educational and career advancement.
Our programs create intergenerational impact—empowering mothers to thrive in an increasingly automated workforce while inspiring their children to pursue STEM careers. Through documented curricula and replicable program models, we aim to expand our impact beyond metro Atlanta to communities nationwide.
We envision a future where every woman has the technology skills to compete in the AI-driven economy, and every child—regardless of background—has early exposure to STEM education that opens doors to tomorrow's careers.
By 2028, we aim to train over 100 women annually in practical AI skills and reach hundreds of youth through our STEM education programs, creating a replicable model that can be adopted by organizations nationwide.

All FamiliesThe principles that guide everything we do
We don't just provide services—we equip women and children with skills, tools, and confidence to build their own success in the technology economy.
When mothers and children learn technology together, the entire family gains skills that create lasting economic opportunity across generations.
We teach the AI tools that employers actually use—ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity—so participants can apply their skills immediately.
Small cohorts, equipment provided, childcare support, flexible scheduling—we remove barriers so everyone can participate.
How we create lasting change for women, children, and families
Our "train-the-trainer" model means we invest in staff certification first, so we can deliver high-quality programs indefinitely without ongoing consultant costs.
Small cohorts of 5-10 participants ensure personalized instruction. Equipment provided. Real AI tools used from day one.
Childcare assistance, transportation support, flexible scheduling, and family stabilization services ensure participants can fully engage.
We create replicable curricula and training guides so our model can be adopted by partner organizations nationwide.
Whether you want to build your technology skills, enroll your child in STEM education, or support families pursuing new careers—we're here for you.
